The Ritual’s Goal: The ritual the necromancer seeks to complete has an apocalyptic purpose, to grant eternal power to a necromantic force that will consume the entire region. To achieve this, he requires rare components, human sacrifices, and the awakening of legions of the dead.

The Connection to the Past
-
The Ancient City of Zalvethar: The echoes of Zalvethar, the ancient city mentioned in the necromancer’s documents, remain central. As the adventurers investigate ruins and ancient texts about this place, they find key clues regarding the origin of the magic the necromancer employs, as well as his own fate and the possible confrontation with the creature that desires to rule the land.
-
The Remnants of the War: The battles fought in the past for control of the border passes directly influence the story. Some artifact or residual power might be linked to the necromancer’s rise.
The Necromancer’s Allies

Time is a constant enemy as they explore the city and its surroundings, searching for clues and ways to stop the ongoing ritual.
-
The Cycle of the Moon: An astrological event, such as an eclipse and the alignment of certain stars, may be crucial for the necromantic ritual to be completed. The adventurers must uncover when and how to carry out their mission within a calendar that offers no leniency.
The Gradual Destruction of the City

The Evil Spreads: As the ritual progresses, Salvar becomes increasingly affected by darkness. Shadows grow, the dead rise, the living fall under the necromancer’s influence, and the city crumbles little by little.
